New Toll Calculation System:From April 4, 2016, a new system was introduced allowing cars over 3,500 kg in Group M1 to be charged the same toll rate as cars under 3,500 kg.This requires a valid agreement and a registered tag. The agreement terms state: 2.9 The customer is entitled to discounts and possible exemptions for crossings when the tag is read and the agreement is valid. The right to discounts or exemptions is lost if the agreement is blocked, i.e., due to exceeded credit limit, unpaid claims sent to collections, or incorrect address (see section 2.4). In such cases, invoices are sent to the vehicle owner. To obtain a tag, select “Light vehicle – under 3,500 kg” when setting up your agreement. NORWEGIAN CARSNorwegian cars in Vehicle Group M1, with an AutoPASS tag and valid agreement, are automatically included in Toll Group 1.
