More about E39 Lønset – Hjelset
Disabled road users will not be allowed to travel on the new road, but they will be able to use the current E39 to a much greater extent.
The number of vehicles on the new road is expected to increase significantly at the time of opening. This is due to both general traffic growth and the opening of the new joint hospital for Nordmøre and Romsdal at Hjelset in 2025.
Tolls will be collected at two toll stations: one on the new road and one on the old road, as indicated on the map.
